Training and Upskilling, in viable sectors, for the under-skilled and disadvantaged in the Niger delta region is a priority, almost sacred to ERD. For the people as well as the local communities along the banks of the river Ethiope and the Niger Delta region in general region to be relevant and viable in fast emerging Global Community, they urgently need to be progressively trained. Highly skilled entrepreneurs and service providers will be the drivers of the New Delta Economy (NDE)

Understanding that ‘not one size, fits all’, training programmes and initiatives will be tailored to the people, customs, traditions, aspirations and other factors that make the region unique. This is to maximise outcomes with minimal inputs.

WORK PROCESS

An understanding of the education and skills level across a community is start point to the recommendation, design, curation and delivery of value-based, job-targeted training programmes.

Training curriculum are grouped and classified for the purpose of targeted audience, replication, scalability and relevance to a particular community.

Training content are delivered based on several factors and nuances that differ from one community to another for effective consumption and desired result.

We follow the 3E strategy as an effective means to realizing and measuring our objectives – which is employment and empowerment. This shows how many trained are now employed.
