Offering innovative solutions and services targeted at specific domains in this sector allows for sustainable practices, employment and revenue
Adherence to best Global Practices in the Oil and Gas industry is the only viable way to deal in the sector. It is on this premise that we explore partnerships and opportunities to offer leading-edge, innovative, solutions. The ERD team is experienced and exposed to the sector on a global scale and are impassioned about serving the local communities along the banks of the river Ethiope and the Niger Delta region in general. For instance, infractions like Gas flaring that hurt the environment will be addressed by capping the gas and redeploying it for power generation; this just one of the many avenues we are exploring.
The volume of oil and gas in the region demands the people of the region participate and benefit wholly from resources granted by Mother Nature
That is why an engagement process with the oil and gas operators in this region, based on a structured and sustainable framework for active participation, capacity and socio-economic development of the region is an imperative.
ENGAGE AND PARTNER
Work Progress
Identify relevant stakeholders in oil companies on the intention to actively engage and partner with them as the tenants within this communities.
Listen and planning to better understand the value requirements that will enable local capacity development and technical support that will boost employment and assure problem-free production within the region.
The process of continuous and active local participation is to be measured and assessed at agreed intervals to verify and validate the overall success of the approach and programmes built on top of the participation initiatve.
The challenges faced by communities housing oil and gas operators are identical and the plan is to design initiatives that are not only scalable but replicable across the region and once successful within a community, the same initiative and approach can be employed for that community.
